PixelMaze is Christine Grabig and Simon Kirby.
It turns out we have a common interest -- love for all things photography. We reside in the usually raining Vancouver, BC, Canada, but we do love to travel often, as our photos sometimes reflect.
The site has been online since April, 2006.

About Simon
I have had an interest in photography and videography since elementary school. At a young age I was making videos with friends and volunteering at Shaw Cablesystems for studio and on-location camera work.
I am fascinated with the science of digital image processing and try to contribute to the UFRaw project, where possible. A large number of the images on this site have been processed by (slightly modified) UFRaw.
My photography approach tends to be more of the technical nature. I aspire to one day gain the confidence to actually approach moving objects (people), which tend to not just ...be there... like landscapes do. :)

About Christine
I never realized how much I loved
photography until I joined the
yearbook staff in high school. I found
it quite therapeutic locking myself in
the tiny school darkroom and engaging myself in
the developing of class photos, with only the radio to
keep me company.
Originally from the US, I finished university with a degree in Business Administration.
I tried to do the whole big business career woman thing, but I wasn't satisfied. Life's too short to do something you don't love. I left that behind to pursue
something I can enjoy. When I'm not behind the lens,
I keep busy doing contract web/print design and
consulting. I love to take something commonplace and
ordinary and capture it in a new light. That's what I try to do in my photography. Now it's just
the matter of being noticed by
