christine: Seattle is like Vancouver in many ways. The lumber industry, the mountains, the ocean, the rain.... but in many ways, the cities are very different.
Vancouver is a modern city, city of glass and modern highrises. Seattle has some of that, too, but it also seems to appreciate its history. I enjoyed visiting Washington's city very much, and hope to return again soon.
