Mount Adams and Mount Rainier as seen from our recent flight to Seattle.

Stunning landscape, it looks like waves of rock. The big peaks poking out look amazing.

Heh - yup, they really are liquid essentially. Just with reeeally high surface tension. If you could shoot time lapse video taking a frame every 10 years for about 100,000 years I bet it would look startlingly liquid.
