Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta

christine: I feel a bit sad that we didn't take our annual trip to Banff or Jasper National Parks this year. With the two weeks in February we spent in Barbados, the one week in July we spent in Michigan, and the upcoming two-week trip we will be taking next month to the UK, we're fresh out of extra vacation time.

Every cloud has a silver lining, though, as we've instead been focusing on doing home renovations and spending time in town with friends. Perhaps next year we can pack up the car with our tent and sleeping bags and head to the majestic mountains.

Wonderful colour and sharpness. Great portrait!

Hmmm . . lost out on this heavenly landscape to fit in the UK? I’ve got a tin of green paint, some grass seed and a bucket of ice water but it will all take time . . Whatever, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the trip around our ol’backyard!
