 Semei

Stained glass (circa 1180AD) of the Head of the Patriarch Semei, from Canterbury Cathedral; on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum, Kensington, London

Inscription: This head once belonged to a seated figure of the patriarch Semei in a series of windows at Canterbury dedicated to the ancestors of Christ. Only the face, part of the neck and the hair come from the original window. They have been set among other fragments of old glass.
Canon EOS 10D: 50mm (80mm) f/1.8 1/400" ISO 800 Capture time: 2006-10-23 06:43:19

Very nice details! And the colours of the glass come out very nicely.
