christine: This was probably my favorite monument of all that I saw in the V&A.

I love this shot. The lighting is bang on. The shadows bring this statue to life - I half expect the woman to turn towards the camera and smile. Very well done.

This a very moving study and the lighting has kinda breathed life over her. Sometimes, a work of art makes a connection and there is a feeling of sharing the same space across time.
