Alexander's Cascades
 Alexander's Cascades

Alexander Falls near Whistler, BC

christine: Yesterday I was tested by Michael to identify a waterfall. I failed miserably, but not without learning of a new waterfall I would like to visit. Not to be outdone, I wanted to share with Michael and all of you one of our not-so-easily identified waterfall gems.

Alexander Falls is not as popular like its nearby neighbours Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls, but its numerous cascades makes it every bit worthy of a visit. That is, if you don't mind leaving the beaten path on a barely-marked dusty and rocky road.

I usually don't enjoy waterfalls picture, but you captured beautiful picture.

I love Alexander Falls. I was there last fall but it was the last light of day and I didn't get a decent shot.
This gorgeous shot has me wanting to return. Excellent.
