Cherry blossoms, North Vancouver
Submission for this week's Thursday Challenge theme, spring.

christine: Here in Vancouver, this time of year is all about the cherry blossom. There are few places you can go and not notice the full trees bursting with bright, bold, fragrant cherry blossoms. As the flowers come to term, they rain the ground below softly with their soft pink petals, which is a delight all of its own.

Awww.. seeing this I am like should I come to BC in winter to have a white Christmas or Should I come in Spring to have a Pink Spring!! Lovely Picture!!!

Very nice capture! I completely agree with you: seeing this soft pink, especially when the blossoms rain down is such a beautiful sight. Last weekend I was able to witness this, too.

The depth of field, really sets this out nicely, the green and other pink in the background really makes your f.p.i come to life almost.

Hey Christine, Have seen the pics taken by u off n on thru Jagu. I must say i have got hooked on to your "pleasantly tilted" site. Am a crazy fan for good pics taken and must say u have a real keen eyes for detail and totally awesome view point on the object of the pic...Love your COY, Top of the World and At the Bus Stop for starters!! I love this picture! I could almost smell them :-)
Could have been taken right in front of our home :-)
This morning, we saw for the first time the "pink snow" of the petals coming down... Pretty amazing !
And now, the street is all pink :-)
