Tea plantation in Munnar (Kerala), India

christine: Of all the places I have been, the hills and hills of tea plantations were among the most remarkable. I have had dreams of the gorgeous green hills of TATA. (Incidently, you may be more acquainted with TATA daughter company Tetley.) It's likely always going to remain one of those places that stays fresh in my mind, and a place I would love to return to. If you ever find yourself in Southern India, do head into the Western Ghats and stay a few days in Munnar. The beauty is unsurpassed.

Munnar also featured on the photoblog here, here, here, and "?post_id=332">here.

Submission for this week's Photo Friday theme, remarkable.

Very nice, almost looks like a macro photo of some odd plant.
