Lions' Gate
 Lions' Gate

Lions' Gate Bridge, Vancouver

The Lions Gate Bridge is the main gate between downtown Vancouver and its North Shore, where we happen to live. Our bridge is currently getting a new paint job, so perhaps an updated version will be called for once renovations are complete.

As you may remember, another shot of the Lions' Gate has already been added to the photoblog.
Canon EOS 10D: 200mm (320mm) f/3.5 1/320" ISO 100 Capture time: 2004-03-14 17:29:15

Lovely lofty shot here in the low angle evening light and with that backdrop beyond. The long lens has given a real nice compaction to it all.

Bloody hell this is brilliant!!!! Perfect exposure and choice of B & W. All of it is so vibrant. I like the way the bridge is so in focus due to the shallow DoF, it bounces off that background. Love the lines to that bridge.
