Skyward Mode of Transportation
 Skyward Mode of Transportation

Vancouver's skytrain zooming by overhead to the Main Street terminal, Vancouver

christine: Vancouver's becoming a development hotzone with winning the bid for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Other than the highway upgrades along route to Whistler, an easy way to notice the development is in the city's public transportation system.

Presently the skytrain can take you from the city and eastword to various suburban areas needing a commute. It can take you to the seabus terminal, which heads across the bay to the North Shore (where we live), Soon, however, there will be skytrain access to the airport, which I hope will cut down on the traffic south of Vancouver.

Great shot, really a sky train. Nice one.

Innovative framing here that lifts this well away from the everyday. In London, we have the 2012 Olympics to ‘look forward’ to.
